“Can we pick it up now or in a few hours?”
And our honest answer — for now — is no.
We know it’s not the answer people want to hear, especially when they crave something delicious, fresh, and healthy. But there’s a very good reason for it — actually, a few.
At Eat’s Healthy, every vegan cake is made fresh to order. That means we don’t keep any ready-made cakes in the fridge waiting to be picked up.
Why? Because we don’t use preservatives, chemicals, or artificial additives. Our cakes are made with real, natural ingredients — nuts, seeds, fruits, and other whole foods — and nature doesn’t stay picture-perfect for long.
Think about it this way: if you cut an apple and leave it in the fridge overnight, the colour changes. The same thing happens with our cakes.
We’re still a small bakery, and at the moment, our Vegan cakes London production is not large enough to allow a continuous, on-demand system. Sometimes we can adjust orders if timing allows, but we never compromise on freshness or quality.
This is the difference between a healthy cake and one filled with refined sugar, margarine, and colouring — the latter can sit on a shelf for weeks, ours can’t. And honestly, we’re proud of that.
Once we grow and have a consistent flow of orders, our goal is to offer same-day delivery and even decorate our cakes with edible flowers and more artistic finishes.
